Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients
1 kg chicken
1 tbsp ginger (Adrak) paste
1 tbs tsp. garlic (Lehsan) paste
11/2 tsp garam masala ( Home made)
1 1/2 tsp Red chilles ( Grated)
salt (according to taste)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
3 tbs lemon juice or to taste
3 tbs Vinegar
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 piece of coal
1/2 cup oil
For Garnishing:
3-4 German green chilies cut in diamond shape.
1 Big onion sliced
1 big Tomato sliced
Instructions:
1. Mix all the spices together to make a paste.
2. Make 2 or 3 cuts on each side of the chicken pieces.
3.Coat the pieces with the paste and leave it to marinate for few hours.
4. Heat oil in a Wok, add chicken in it n cook on low flame till half cooked.
5. Then cook chicken on high Flame till water gets evaporated n oil gets separate
6. Add li'l water in it n garnish chilles, onion n tomato at the top.
7. Cook it 4 another 5 mins on very low heat.
8. Put off the flame
9. Heat a coal n keep it on the top of chicken, put some oil on the coal n cover the lid for 15 mins.
10.Serve with mint chutni n raita
